Highlights of 2012

Dear blog readers,

I’m pleased to announce that I am back and bouncing with a positive outlook. I hope you’ve all had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed it in whatever way you choose to celebrate. For me, it is all about the togetherness and the giving, and also about not taking it all too seriously. So my laid-back Christmas with the family, exchanging gifts was perfect. We ate, drank, and were merry 🙂

I wanted to look back at 2012, because it’s been a year full of new experiences, building friendships, and trying to enjoy life as it comes.

Wow, what an amazing year with some amazing experiences! I feel like a lucky girl to have had so many enjoyable and happy moments. My aim for 2013 is to keep up the positive outlook, and not to take life for granted, to enjoy myself and cherish the happy moments. And when life gets difficult, stay strong and trust that it will turn out right in the end. Whereas many new year resolutions are based on change (like losing weight, giving up smoking), I just want to continue the focus I had during 2012: positivity and gratitude for life’s experiences, even when the going gets tough, because you can always  get through it, and come out stronger.

I wish you all a happy and healthy 2013.
